ECTOL is experimenting with a "Mission Statement"" With this aim of uniting the two groups of people that either believe that ECT has a role, or else consider that it has no place in a civilised society, this website aims to represent the science, the sociology and the emotion of electroconvulsive therapy fairly and in a way that can be easily understood. In recognition of the difficulty of collecting the necessary information we should communicate our findings and views, establish informed research methods, and learn from our patients and each other.(Ok so its a rubbish mission statement, any suggestions? I'm listening... ) |
